Box frenzy

We have an ongoing exhibition at Gainsborough Old Hall called blank canvas, inviting local people to give their interpretation of the hall. And finally... here is mine! It's not finished yet. I had grand ideas about tapestries and stuff, but ended up thinking about the fact that the building is timber framed, simple , elegant. I found this piece of wood in the grounds after an event last year,so it seemed very apropriate to make a casket out of it, finished in wax. I may gild it inside, for added alegory!
