A little ripple

What a strange week it's been, both last and this one. Early Wednesday morning, 12-58 to be exact, I had just got off to sleep. Mrs somers was in the bathroom, mini somers asleep in his cot. I was suddenly awoken by what felt like someone picking up the bed and dropping it repeatedly. Apparently all the ablutions slid across the shelf in front of Ms somers in the bathroom, all the while Boo slumbered through the whole drama. Sky news were reporting within half an hour that the earthquake had been 5.3 (which is considered as fair to medium strength in earthquake terms). The epicentre was 6 miles below Market Rasen, about 20 miles away. Alot of chimney pots have fallen off and cracks appeared (although our house had plenty to start with!). I can honestly say it was terrifying. The whole house shook and kept shaking as I dashed downstairs to look outside. It felt like a bomb going off.
