Beggars banquet

I've been threatened with eviction! yes, eviction, from my allotment as I haven't worked on it this year. My timid, lacking excuse of having three jobs, an ill wife and a five month old child held no sway with officialdom. I was told I had two weeks to sharpen up my act or I was out. Now... the steward of the site, she seems to have a number of family members with plots,even though there is a long waiting list to get one,... they managed to get in on the act very swiftly...
