Butcher

My latest project, an electric mandolin, made from an old butchered instrument and a mahogony shelf! My idea was to make something portable, like one of those martin travel guitars. Only thing is the mahogony is very heavy, but it is a lovely material to work.

Once, a glance...

Ok, back-tracking slightly, but I so want to commit some pictures to the world wide archive! This is the view from the pub where we had the best ever sunday roast.

The sun shone down like marmelade all week long. I found a hide away by the tennis court (which was unused all week) to do some drawing.

Velocity

What a week, what a day, what an evening... All I can say is it's been memorable. I've been on holiday to Northumberland, found both my jobs in jeopardy and had a bust up in the band. All of this seems quite irrelevant as I had some rather extraordinary news. Here is a picture of our cottage, with a rainbow.........
