Hot air rising

It would appear there were a number of Oriental lanterns released on new years eve, consisting of a small candle or tea light, suspended under a paper canopy, which makes them float up into the ether with a ghostly orange glow, especially well on a cold night I would surmise... Ok I wish it had been a UFO but I'm not so sure. After all, it was nothing like the real UFO I saw in 1985....

Some more WSH

Some weird stuff...
On new years eve we bathed young Samuel, sent him to bed and watched Joolz and his hootenanney, as per tradition on the telly. Also as tradition goes, I go out into the garden as the bongs' bong and see in the new year. Usually quite lubricated...
This year I celebrated the same protocol, then retired to bed and pretty much forgot about it, until today. I remember at the time seeing a strange bright orange light up in the clouds, which looked like full moon. It was abit odd, but then after the Scotch most things look abit odd. I thought nothing more of it.
Only thing is there was no moon that night and...
I've been looking at Saturn in the night sky just lately. I see the moon. I watch aeroplanes. I watch satellites pass over. I don't mistake lights in the sky easily for weird stuff. What I'm saying is I know whats going on overhead and don't jump to conclusions, but this is a little odd!

The Sand and the Sea

Well, serious stuff I suppose...
One year ago exactly.
I try to be cynical and scientific about these things, but deep down believe there are some underlying senses and instincts that lie dormant in us all. I went to bed and had a very odd feeling, like something, sorry, someone was ready to burst into the world. A very strange sensation.
Four in the morning, mrs somers went into labour. (she woke me up!)

It's Sam's 1st birthday on Sunday.

super furry haminals

I found something soft and fluffy with green bits in the kitchen, I don't mean KT, it was originally a yoghurt...Ok this was before christmas but I did promise to post this photo.
