Out of time
Aaaargh. I so wanted to add a really positive entry as I've had such a fab day. Anyway....
Been teaching at Winterton School today and Wednesday and had a great time. We made ocarinas, tiles, did sprigging, stamping, rolling out, all sorts of stuff. The kids were so nice and responsive. Today's group were particularly good. At the end of today I sat in on the end of term assembly and watched awards giving.
Now, the reason I'm having trouble being upbeat is the fact that I was wandering around my garden 30 minutes ago when out of the blue a pair of arms reached over the fence and wrenched my bean canes out. I raced up the garden and out the gate only to see three youths running off with bits of my garden (which will probably get thrown onto the railwayline). I've just rung the police to log it as a crime so that my council tax gets used for something other than cleaning out moats and tuning pianos...
Had abit of an odd birthday yesterday. It was a really nice family day, but felt almost like a non event. Went to Rufford park and meandered which was great. I almost felt like I was passing the time waiting to be 40 ! Time has taken on a completely differant meaning and value just lately. It's all relative. Damn you Einstein.
