Just as you take my hand...

Do you sometimes wonder if you could go back in time, would you change the direction of your life and where? If you had that choice of hindsight, where would your life split off in a differant direction from the present one... That meeting many years past... the new year,...a chance passing in a distant city...like comets passing round the sun....where would you choose that split? Would you dare go back to it and take that differant direction?

"..I'm...waiting for my man...

..26 dollars in my hand..."
Well, that's it then, 2007 over with. What a strange year, almost as strange as the one before (although nothing can quite match that one, donkey, donkey, donkey...).
I spent the afternoon in Lincoln on business and stalking the tourist attractions, resting in front of the Cathedral after yomping up steep hill.

We watched Joolz Holland's Hootenanny as per usual and danced to the Kaiser Chiefs who were brilliant along with Seasick Steve and his Mississippi drum machine, ( I want one).

Junior still hasn't found the time to make an appearance. He/she is like me and takes life in it's stride...Be cool.

Videotape

Another Christmas day goes by... A very enjoyable and relaxing one for once. We spent the afternoon with the inlaws, plus of course Lucy and Millie, my favourite pooches.

We got loads of lovely presents, all for junior of course! Bears, cuddle towels, a moses basket and stand, socks, etc..

My favourite is Top Cat.. There is also a Giraffe we've called "Jeff"

My best present (other than the iminent little person) was "In Rainbows" by Radiohead, on vinyl (yep, remember that stuff..? ) in the box set, which cost £40, admittedly, it was a prezzie I bought for myself!

Earl and Lester

Bad blogger! I've been too tired and overworked to post ! (It's tough dressing up as a Tudor and playing mandolin all day long). This is our last scan before we see the little person in person...

Thank god work is finished now other than one last weekend, which should be quiet (chance to practise "foggy mountain breakdown" on the 5 string!).

...and it rained

A medieval Christmas...
They come and go, another year... This is Ruth in the Kitchen in between serving punch.
The rain belted down all day. I lit a fire which went very well (for a change!).
We number but few just lately.
