a blow to the senses

I have bumped my head. A serious one, on the worktop edge, late at night, last night, looking for a torch, to locate a plastic tub, to fill with cement, to repair a workmates wall. It felt like a bruise, then blood started seeping through my scalp... Minor injuries hospital this afternoon! Feeling very dizzy, it bled last night, then mrs somers put a compress on it and I slept with gaffer tape holding me together. The nurse said it was a very good repair which prevented me having a gaping wound. Apparently I have healed very quickly, although my blood pressure is up, possibly from the stress of having had to see said nurse, (who was incredibly friendly and reassuring, absolutely brilliant). Bonfire night tomorrow, time to celebrate burning catholics and sparing the government... Who said surrealism is dead? !!!
