the warming sun

yep. 7 every morning my son awakes me to the warming sun, even though I would really like to stay in bed for a while longer as christmas comes but once a year, thank the lord ( ...!!).
Karma has not been on our side. Mrs somers cut her hands (both) on a glass, so we had a trip to minor injuries in pouring rain, which also gave the silencer on my car the opportunity to splice in half and growl like a rotweiler. Ooh, and sam did a somersault down the staircase, like a rumanian acrobat. It is going well.
Car cost £50. Thanks enermously to Paul the mechanic. Mummy cant peel spuds, looks like it's my job. Sam ok but hopefully learnt a lesson to not arse around on the stairs. My blood pressure is 250 over 250 probably as is mommas. I have aquired a casio keyboard though which is christmas in advance for me. (Its the only thing I really desired anyway, along with some solitude to play with it).

I was lost but now I am found..(under the cupboard)

Woo-hoo. The bluetooth dongle I lost about three months ago has been found. I decided to hoover under the drawers in the back bedroom and it appeared! This means I can now post pictures. I could have done this anyway, but it meant using either the netbook or smartphone, both of which take nanoseconds longer to use, therefore mr lazy chose not to!
Samuel has made his first pot!! Genius! I'm so proud. He's very laid back about it all. The photos are at home but he actually made it at school with proper teachers!
Christmas has come and gone at work. I can't believe another year of craft fair and guitar playing and carols has passed. We are now closed until April for building work, to turn us into a wedding venue.....

Burn baby burn

Yep. Blogethergy is contagious and very, er, oh I can't be bothered to explain. Damn- there it is again! We must scribble, ok, type, our way through this plague and try to resume our normal, totally abnormal virtual existance in our make belief world!! Anyway. I've just had a bonfire and a bottle of wine so feeling social for once, which is quite unlike me at the moment. The events of just lately at work have made me feel quite insular, very unconfident and totally distrustful of my fellow homo sapiens. Mainly due to one evil person (and I don't use that term lightly, if ever..) The trouble with working with the public is it makes you very tired and weary of the public. When your own collegues (ok, collegue.. singular) turn on you, it really does make the shields go up. Anyway, enough of that. Sticking your metalwork in the bonfire really does medieval it up...

its alright. she moves in mysterious ways

Waaay! I'm back after a blogga break. Another Christmas fair at GOH. I now time my life by this annual event. I can't believe another one has come and gone. I particularly treasure this one as me and me mate Rick (of heart attack, near death and television helicopter rescue fame) played guitar and mandolin for the visitors and got a good response. I even got an applause for my bagpipe playing...I can do Auld Lang Syne, Bruces Address and the Wombles theme tune. -I'm open to bookings for hogmanay. Actually, I'm not as I resolved to play at the bottom of my garden and film it at midnight...
